2020 Spring Edition

Welcome to The Scoop, The Orchards at River Bluff Newsletter! The new HOA Board of Directors mailed an introduction letter to every member's home address in April. Moving forward we will be using this website, email, and our Facebook group to share information regarding news, meetings, events, and any other information.  When a new edition is posted here you will receive an email notification and the Facebook group will be updated.

What has the Board Been Up To?

​We have been gathering and organizing financial information so that we can share this information with you via our website. The 2019 expenses and 2020 budget are now posted on our password protected Financials Page. The 2020 budget is still in process and will be updated when possible. The password was sent in the letter from April, please click here to request the password. 

​In addition, we have been having organizational and planning meetings online via Zoom to document policies and procedures for the Board going forward.  We have been learning about upcoming possible pond maintenance and evaluating other past and present needs for our neighborhood. The Votes Have Been Tallied!

Included with our introduction letter in April was information regarding a vote on our 2020 dues.

DECISION: We will be foregoing the 2020 dues in light of the current pandemic and the financial unease it has caused. You can request a confirmation of dues paid on our home page if needed for refinancing. Our vote for 2021 dues will take place at our meeting on October 7th, information will be posted on our events page and in our Facebook group.

We have 47 homes in the Association and received 36 votes.  The vote results are as follows:

​Welcome Committee Volunteers

The Board would like to pursue the development of a Welcome Committee. Do we have any neighbors who would like to bake, visit, pull together fun facts about Oconomowoc or other “welcome” activities including creating a packet to introduce new families to the neighborhood and HOA?   If you are interested in volunteering or would like to hear more please click here.

​Upcoming Open Meeting in July

All members are invited to join us for an open meeting in July. Discussion will include the Welcome Committee, pond updates, financial status, block party, and open discussion for suggestions. Details will be posted on our website events page and Facebook page when they are available.
