Meeting Minutes from 10/21/20

Open Meeting on October 21, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. took place online.

Call to order: Susan Waldman, President, called the Board meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.

Roll call: Board members present:

• President, Susan Waldman
• Secretary, Jessica Praeger
• Treasurer, Liz Depeaux

Members present: Walsh, Weber, King, Kneiser, Kinney, Justice, Pierce, Madsen

Approval of the minutes of the last meeting dated August 12, 2020: Motion by Jessica Praeger, Seconded by Susan Waldman to approve the minutes of the meeting on August 12, 2020, motion carried.

Recap of 2020 Business: Susan discusses the first three items, Liz discusses 4 and 5.

1. Website - Central communication hub, can pay dues at www.orbhoa.com 
2. Happy Hour - 12 families participated!
3. Maintenance activities - sprayed mailboxes for bees, front entrance and bowl work to take place in Spring, pond work in process (see photos below)
4. Assessment of drainage pipe in bowl - evaluation, and quotes will continue in Spring, discussion regarding the drain area being the responsibility of HOA, grading issues in yards is the homeowner’s responsibility.
5. Pond - See Photos: Output pipe fixed, Rip rap added, lawn repair, and maintenance to begin in spring.

Annual Expenses: 

Dues recommendation: $175.00 to cover annual costs per annual costs as listed on the Financial page.

Board Member Nominations: None

Committee Interest: Welcoming Committee to start in 2021. Three people interested.

Homeowner Open Forum:
Please be aware of the following garbage issues:

• Pick up all trash/glass that does not make it into the garbage truck.
• Animals or birds may dig in the garbage if put out the night before, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to clean up.
• Windy/Stormy days garbage is blowing into neighbors yards, please pick up your garbage.

Jessica made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Susan seconded. The motion was carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
